What is Blogger ?
Blogger is a kind of platform where you can live your dreams, show your creativity, your passion, your knowledge, impart knowledge to other and much more. Blogger provides an opportunity to all who are motivated to start a career in blogging. Its not like you want to write a blog, so you go ahead and write it anywhere else. You should have a platform where people can access your creativity, your knowledge which you want others to know. There are many platform for you as rightly pointed out that opportunities are vast in this world. I will discuss all of them in my later posts, for now, we concentrate mainly on Blogger.
Blogger is FREE !
Blogger provides you an interface to the world where you will write and everyone else can see, read and make use of that information and to your wonder, Blogger is FREE. Yes, my friends, you can make use of this service absolutely Free ! To start your first blog, I will try to explain everything here on DynamikMoney. Blogger is a product of Google LLC which is popularly known as Google. So, Google is here to help us and providing an opportunity to grow in this online world.
Blogger Environment
Talking about blogger environment, its very friendly. Everything is available within reach. To be a blogger, all the helping tools required for writing quality blogs, everything is neatly available. You will be getting a dual mode viz. Compose or HTML text editor where you can write as per your requirement. This is WYSIWYG module. You need to explore everything on blogger before start a career. At times of necessity, you must be aware of the module. If you don't know something, just Google it, there are tons of people who are ready to help. One of them is Google Forum where you can ask your query and get it resolved in no matter of time. So rest assured here.
When you start a career in blogging, you must have a name of your blog where people can find you. Blogger is doing awesome work here as well. You don't need to purchase your custom domain from the anywhere during the initial blogging career. While creating a blog on blogger, you will asked the very first thing is a name and which is absolutely FREE!. You will be provided a name suffixing Blogspot.com which is ultimately free for lifetime. If at any stage, you think that a custom domain is required, go ahead, there are tons of domain providers available. Just purchase domain name from them and link your blog to custom domain name which is another 15 minutes process. I will try to explain custom domain issue with details later.
Blogger Dashboard is the main control centre from where you can control your blog. It consists several elements such as creating new posts, deleting posts, all statistics, comments approved and awaiting comments, Earnings through blog, Layout, themes and all settings related to your blog.
Creating new blog post : A blog have multiple number of posts. Posts can be consider as a webpage which you generally visits of a particular website. To create a webpage in blogger, you need to create a post. We can also create pages in Blogger but due to limitation, we generally create posts instead of pages. We can only create 20 pages in a blog. To get rid of this limitation, we need to create posts which are unrestricted.
To create a new post, you have click "New Post" button as can be seen in the image above. Below that there are three test posts marked with "test post 1, test post 2 and test post 3". As and when you will write more posts, they will get updated here. Hover you mouse over these three posts, you will see more options such as "Edit, View, Share and Delete". I hope you learnt it right.
