Has your application for AdSense account been rejected ? Were you not able to get your account for the first time? Let's find out the reasons for adsense disapproval.
First thing you need to understand is that you are not alone. There are thousands of applications for adsense account, might be received by Adsense team on daily basis and out of those thousands application, many have to got their application rejected. There are reasons for everything. Why other publishers were able to get the approval but you were not. As you can find out in my previous article regarding How to get your adsense account approved first time, I have tried to combine all sorts of possible things which are needed to get the adsense account approved. There might some reasons where you might be failed to comply with the policies of Google Adsense.
While applying for the first time, you must be getting an email regarding the reasons for not activating your adsense account. Please read out the email very carefully and adhere to the steps mentioned in that email. The reasons must be very clearly written in the email. What all you have to do, is just to comply with them.
The reasons might be any of the following:
Problem with website / blog : There might be some issue with your website. Either the Adsense policies are not compliant or any other issue. There might be issue with the other pages of website and not on the homepage. Just resolved the issue and reapproach the adsense team once you have sorted out, for a second time review of your website.
Multiple Adsense Account : It is not advisable to have multiple Adsense account for the same publisher. You cannot have another account if you already have one associated with your email. (If you still want to have another account, use the details of either of your family member or a friend with different email address).
Not enough content / posts : As I have mentioned in my earlier post, you must have atleast 20+ posts / pages before apply for adsense account. You website must not be in construction phase. It must be fully developed and working. You must have enough pages so that the adsense crawlers find out the exact details of your website and the niche, to serve you better ads.
Content Issue Error : You website must be unique in all respect. You should not plagiarism the content. Website with genuine and relative information are trusted and acceptable to everyone, be it a user or adsense team. Please be extra careful while participating in affiliating programs. Affiliating content must not be shown on the page where adsense ad codes are placed. Either you can remove the affiliating content or use very little space of your page for them.
Issues with Traffic Source error : Websites intends to use adsense must not have their traffic redirected from unauthorised pages/applications. You should never participate in paid to click programs or forcibly click tips. You should never include any kind of scripts to your pages where users redirected from unauthorised sources.
Navigation Issue Error : Navigation menus such as Homepage, About Us, Contact Us etc. must be clearly visible and navigable. The users must not be served with confusing menus. I have already suggested you that you must have a simple template or theme which is easily navigable. You already know that in today's world, everyone has limited time to explore things, no one has enough time to themselves engaged to your website for the whole day. If you have something unique information, it must be readily available and accessible. If it is not accessible, you would lose the unique traffic. Adsense prefers website which can serve better to the users.
Apart from these above mentioned errors, there are several other errors which may lead your application towards rejection. Have a look at them.
Your website/blog niche should not be based on the following content :
- Adult themes in family content.
- Pornography, adult or mature content.
- Shocking content.
- Content that threatens or advocates for harm on oneself or others.
- Content that harasses, intimidates or bullies an individual or group of individuals.
- Content that incites hatred against, promotes discrimination of, or disparages an individual or group on the basis of their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization.
- Excessive profanity.
- Hacking/cracking content.
- Software or other content that violates the Unwanted Software Policy
- Malware or adware.
- Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content.
- Content that promotes, sells, or advertises products obtained from endangered or threatened species.
- Online sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products.
- Sales of prescription drugs.
- Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g., firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns).
- Instructions on the enhancement or self-assembly of weapons (e.g., 3D printing of weapons, conversion kits, 80% finished parts).
- Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays.
- Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails.
- Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others.

Steps required for sending second review request to adsense team:
- Login to gmail/adsense account
- Check the email and find out the issue with the website.
- Request adsense teams to take a second review confirming compliance to all the issues they have raised.
- Please be polite while sending them request. We are all humans. We all need respect.
- Never put a request without the resolving the issues they have raised. It will make huge delays in review process.
- Once the review is one, I am sure you will be having a adsense account confirmed.
